What or who influenced you to choose this career?

Honestly, I’m not sure, but I’ve always been certain about it. Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved everything related to architecture, spaces and design.

Had you heard of Blakstad before working here? If so, how?

Yes, I started following them a few years before I arrived here, thanks to my brother who introduced me to the studio.

Describe a typical day at work.

Great atmosphere, lots of work, moving from one task to the next and some laughs along the way.

What do you like most about your job?

Each project has its own personality and no two days are the same.

What do you enjoy about working at Blakstad?

I love being part of creating beautiful projects and the studio’s vibrant energy.

What do you find most challenging?

Continuing to grow and not becoming stagnant.

Is there a project you are especially proud of? If so, why?

We all work hard to bring projects to life in the best possible way.

What does architecture mean to you?

It’s a language, a mode of expression.

Name a favourite building and give a brief explanation of why you like it.

I’ll go with something from my home region: the Mercado de Colón. It’s a beautiful example of Valencian modernism with an exquisite remodelling and service intervention.

If you could go anywhere in the world to experience architecture and design, where would you go and why?

The Middle East. Right now, I’d choose to explore historical architecture, palaces and religious motifs.

What do you like most about living and working in Ibiza?

The coexistence between its cosmopolitan essence and local life, and of course, the natural surroundings.
